This week, fast food workers in several states including Michigan, Illinois and New York, have walked off the job, demanding pay in the $15/hr range. For the rest of us, life goes on, with most everyone else taking a wait-and-see stance.
The "striking" workers technically cannot strike. They are, for the most part, non-unionized. Will that change? What is a fair wage for this type of job? Obviously I prize these workers for providing me with my favorite foods. Happy workers make happy meals (pun intended.) But what is a fair wage? What do you think?
