Check out this awesome and pristine 1982 Ronald McDonald Sticker Fun Coloring Calendar. My wife dug it out of an old box, and they were right - it really is fun!
The World According to Ronald McDonald. Click this or any of the other images to zoom in. I miss hand-drawn graphics like this. Nowadays, everything seems computer generated and sterile.
On the inside flap is a personal message from Ronald himself. The stage is set for a fun adventure around the world, where, not coincidentally, McDonald's happens to operate. But let's not be cynical, let's explore!
Here in March, Ronald shows his interest in chasing small, colorful fellows. What was that bird's name again? Oh yeah, Birdie the Early Bird. I hated that bird. This picture just makes me uncomfortable.
Speaking of colorful fellows, look at the great two pages of stickers that are in the middle of the book. Put Boots on a Fry Guy or have a husky attack the Hamburglar. It's all fair game if you use your imagination! Nice to put in stickers for mom & dad's birthdays. Screw the siblings! And a "First day of school" sticker? No thank you!
I had no idea Japan had such little regard for safety as to put a park bench right along a bullet train track. Of course, that train can't go too fast and still make those 90 degree turns. Hang on Grimace!
Here's one of the actual calendar pages. It's pretty decent for what it is, and there is still a lot of room for kids to write stuff in like birthdays or cross out dates in anticipation of some big event. I can see this being a lot of fun for kids. Beware the horned Santa!
