Carl's Jr. is advertising the "first all-natural burger... among major fast food chains." As the poster above promotes, this fast food burger comes with antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and steroid-free grass fed beef. Also on board is "natural cheddar cheese, vine ripened tomatoes," pickles, leaf lettuce, onion slices, and gobs of mayo and ketchup.

Let's go ahead and unbox the Carl's Jr. All Natural burger. The sandwich is big, with an irregularly-shaped patty making the

experience that much more "natural" (I guess.) It was a good size and tasted substantial. The "fresh baked bun" added to the feeling that this was a slightly premium burger.

The All-Natural Burger's vitals are 760 calories, 400 of which from fat. 44 grams of fat, 14 grams of saturated fat, 90 mg of cholesterol, and 1040 mg of sodium. That puts it roughly in the neighborhood of the Famous Star, but with the added contribution of possibly happier cows.

Overall, I found the burger to be good, but not as good as Carl's mainstays. I'd take any of the Thickburgers or even a Famous Star over this sandwich any day. I wonder if they'd let me sub the all-natural patty on one of those other sandwiches. That would, theoretically, be the best of both worlds.
